About

While a young Jewish woman and her brother embark on a desperate escape from the Third Reich to avoid the Holocaust, the desire for wealth, social advancement and recognition drives a German father and his family to become accomplices in this horrific crime.
“When God fell asleep” is the first German video game to tell the stories of victims and perpetrators in an interactive way. Discover an authentic historical world, uncover its secrets and interact with its inhabitants.
Get to know their desires, backgrounds and motivations and make decisions that have consequences but will never change the course of history.
It is an emotional experience that will challenge, touch and shake you - based on true events, biographies and eyewitness accounts.
A tribute to the German memorial culture and in memory of the victims of the national socialist regime.
